Welcome to Gilbert's Art. Mr. Brant Gilbert is a Montana native, born in Miles City in 1971. He is
Primarily self-taught, with no formal training. His intrest in painting and drawing began at a very young age. His first medium
of choice as his bedroom wall. At age three, with his mother Debra's consent and encouragement, Brant's creative abilities
were unleashed.
It is onely within the last few years that he began working in oils. Mr. Gilbert's primary interest
is in re-creating wildlife scenes. He has entered pieces into the "Shadows of the Past" art auction and the "PPondera Historical
Societ Art Auction." He h as many pieces in private collections "by commission" in several states. Mr. Gilbert contributes
several works annualy to raise money for worthy causes.
Mr. Gilbert resides outside Shelby, Montana, where he spends much of his time in his studio painting
and studying wildlife and nature for future works.
